Last week, two of our students tried their hand at silk floral arrangements and entered them in the Georgia National Fair FFA YOUTH Expo.

Congratulations to Mackenzie and Gracyn for placing first in their respective categories!

Thank you Mrs. Karen Tolbert Pitts for donating floral supplies to the program. They are being put to good use!

Over the past couple of weeks, vet science students have been learning proper restraint procedures for cats, dogs, poultry, hamsters, rabbits, and more.

We always want to ensure our vet students are adequately prepared before starting their veterinary clinical job shadows.

I'd say this class is well on their way!

Teaching ag on went just as it should, educating all 5th graders within the county about the agriculture industry and careers within it!

What a wonderful day spent with industry leaders and specialists within their respective fields of Conservation and Natural Resources, Wildlife Conservation, Game Management, Farm to Fork Education Specialists, Homesteading Entrepreneurs, Georgia Forestry Commission, UGA Agriculture Extension Agencies, and Georgia Department of Agriculture Livestock & Poultry Department.
We greatly appreciate your efforts in joining us and sharing the same passion of teaching about agriculture to our youth!

We had a blast spending the day with all elementary schools within the county and appreciate sharing your kids with us!

FFA middle and high school students joined in with leadership and team building activities as well as leading the program for the day.

This is our favorite and most important event of the year and we couldn't do it without all those mentioned.

FFA attended Area 3 Region Rally in Perry, GA today.

FFA members tested their knowledge in animal, horticulture, forestry, and ag mechanics identification competitions, participated in leadership skills and team building activities, mingled with fellow FFA members from across the region as well as had loads of fun throughout the day!

We were also able to watch our Area 3 Sentinel, Abbey, in action as she led groups all throughout the day for Area 3 today and Area 4 yesterday.

Glad to be an FFA Brave!
