Fully licensed preschool for 10 students in the town of Franklin, MA. Conveniently located on a quiet street near the Franklin/Norfolk/Wrentham lines on a beautiful wooded lot. Serving ages 2.9-5, offering a 5 day half-day or full-day program.

We offer a developmentally appropriate, cozy indoor classroom, as well as an outdoor classroom with a walking nature trail, flower/vegetable gardens so that each child is fully immersed in nature all while learning! Provided each day are a variety of learning opportunities "centers" that adhere to an emergent curriculum. Meaning that most planned activities and themes, etc. arise out of our students interests, actions, or spontaneous events.

It is with great pleasure that we share our exciting news. Our Preschool Program license has been upgraded therefore we have now have a few openings for this upcoming 2017-2018 school year!

Above & Beyond Preschool Center, LLC located on the Norfolk/Franklin town lines is now licensed for 10 children ages 2.5 – 5 under the State of Massachusetts, license #9026843.

PROGRAM FEATURES:
- SMALLER IN NATURE: accommodates individual needs of each child and families in our care
- FLEXIBLE: various options available
- PRESCHOOL HOURS: 8:30AM – 12:30 PM and offers before and after school care as needed
- CLASSROOMS: “fully immersed” in nature
- EMERGENT CURRICULUM: arises naturally out of the interest of the children as they thrive, and learn best through self-discovery
- ACTIVITIES: music/movement (former piano teacher), dramatic play, cooking, writing, blocks, manipulates, science, gardening, nature trail, monthly pizza days, and a variety of “hands on” learning experiences
- DAILY COMMUNICATION: pictures & narratives of child’s day
- KEEPSAKE PHOTO JOURNAL: created for each child/family

Above and Beyond Preschool offers a warm and nurturing environment for each child to learn and grow. Through play, supported with a rich curriculum, your child will learn important skills and foundations that will encourage future success in learning. EDUCATOR: Brittany Holmes: Bachelor’s in Arts and Liberal Studies with Minor in Education from Bay Path University, Teacher of Preschool certified through Department of Early Education and Care, CPR & First Aid certified.

Serving ages 2.5-5, offering 5, 3, and 2 day programs. The school hours are 8:30- 4:30 with before and after-school care for an additional fee. I offer a developmentally appropriate, cozy indoor classroom, as well as an outdoor classroom with a walking nature trail, flower/vegetable gardens so that each child is fully immersed in nature all while learning! Provided each day are a variety of learning opportunities "centers" that adhere to an emergent curriculum. This means that most planned activities and themes, etc. arise out of the child's interests, actions, or spontaneous events. With over 20 years of director and teaching experience in the field of early education I believe that the relationship I hold with parents is a vital component in the development and personal growth of their child. Parents know their child best, and I encourage input from them as we establish individual goals for their child. I welcome the partnership that we share as we navigate the preschool years together.
