How do we develop positive, professional relationships with our students, their families, and one another? How do we measure the progress of our students to these standards and skills? How do we provide interventions for students who are struggling to achieve our learning goals? Franklin Simpson High School Tomorrow’s Leaders Explore Agriculture!

Our Tomorrow’s Leaders students are on the road today for Agriculture Day!

We kicked off the day at Western Kentucky University’s Bowling Green Farm, where students had the opportunity to learn more about agriculture, education, careers, and the important role this industry plays in our region.

A big thank you to WKU for hosting our students and investing your time in the next generation of leaders!

Next stop—back home in Simpson County! We’re continuing Agriculture Day as guests of Robertson Farms, giving our students another firsthand look at agriculture right here in our own community.

And Agriculture Day wouldn’t be complete without a great farm-style lunch! A special shout-out to the Cattlemen’s Association for providing grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for our students. We appreciate our community partners who make experiences like this possible!

And a very special thank you to Franklin Bank & Trust Company for sponsoring Tomorrow’s Leaders for the fifth consecutive year! Their continued investment in our students makes opportunities like today possible and helps provide meaningful experiences that develop, connect, and inspire our next generation of leaders.

Today is all about learning beyond the classroom, exploring future possibilities, connecting with our community, and growing as leaders.

IT’S TIME TO DONATE YOUR LUNCH MONEY! We’re celebrating the 10th Annual Donate Your Lunch Money Fundraiser, and we need our community to help us make this year BIG!

On Thursday, September 17, skip buying lunch—or simply donate what you might normally spend—and help support the Backpack Program of Simpson County Schools. Every dollar helps provide food for local students who may otherwise face hunger when they’re away from school.

Supporting Rotary Means Supporting Our Schools AND Our Community!

The Rotary Club of Franklin, KY’s 30th Annual Reverse Raffle is coming up September 19! Tickets are $100, with a $5,000 grand prize plus additional cash prizes and giveaways.

Why are we sharing? Because the funds raised through this event come right back into the Franklin-Simpson community—including support for our students and schools!

Last year, Franklin Rotary provided funding to Simpson County Schools for Community Education and other educational programs, along with funding for Head Start, Junior Achievement, NEXGen Navigators and many other youth and community organizations.

In total, Rotary distributed more than $48,000 to organizations serving our community in 2025–2026.
