World History Institute For three decades, Marshall has taught these truths through many venues from dynamic seminars to documentaries, radio programs, and historic tours.

Since 1976, the World History Institute (formerly Mayflower Institute), has spread the Gospel of Liberty worldwide teaching and training thousands in the Biblical foundations of government, free enterprise system, and education. Dr. Marshall Foster is the founder and president of the Mayflower Institute/World History Institute, which is dedicated to teaching the Judeo-Christian truths of history that have liberated nations around the globe. His best-selling resources include The American Covenant: the Untold Story, The Christian Home Learning Guides, From Terror to Triumph and Hope for Our Time. He oversees the education of more than 10,000 students and families each year on historic training tours. Marshall Foster is the co-host of The Story of Liberty, a weekly radio show on the gold coast of Florida. Dr. Foster's biblical and historical strategy for restoring America offers a new generation hope and encouragement for a lasting spiritual and cultural revival.

John Calvin never set foot in America, yet the biblical worldview he helped recover shaped the Geneva Bible carried aboard the Mayflower, and influenced generations of pastors, reformers and statesman.
Historian George Bancroft wrote:
“He that will not honor the memory and respect the influence of Calvin knows but little of the origin of American liberty.”
