What a start to !

Yesterday began with a 2:00 AM departure, followed by a 4:00 AM arrival at Pittsburgh International Airport. After a 6:40 AM flight, a layover in Minneapolis, and one more flight south, we landed in San Antonio around noon!

We spent the afternoon exploring the city, enjoying a river cruise along the famous San Antonio River Walk, checking out local shops, and trying some great local restaurants before the long day of travel finally caught up with us.

Today, the National Leadership Conference officially gets underway with a full schedule of workshops, networking, leadership sessions, and learning opportunities. We’re excited to represent Franklin FBLA and make the most of every moment.

MORE BIG NEWS for Franklin FBLA!

We are excited to share that sophomore Lydia Riddle has also been invited to compete at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas!

Lydia now joins Ryan Shontz as Franklin FBLA national qualifiers, giving our chapter even more reason to celebrate and even more reason to rally together.

This invitation came with very little time left in the planning process, which means we need to move quickly to finalize travel, lodging, registration, and fundraising. New donations will now help support both Ryan and Lydia as they prepare to represent Franklin on the national stage.

The district is willing to support us, and we are incredibly grateful for that. At the same time, we want to meet them in that effort and do everything we can as a chapter and community to make this opportunity possible… especially as plane tickets continue getting more expensive by the day.

For the first time since 2019, Franklin FBLA has a national qualifier!
