It is time for the 2026 Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Creative Art and Essay Contest.
The contest is open to all K thru 12 grade students who attend Simpson County Schools, Churches and who are Home Schooled or belong to local youth local clubs: Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H, etc.

SCS will be closed, utilizing NTI day #2 on Feb 18. Several roads, bridges and low areas are not able to drive through. Simpson Co. currently has 11 roads that are closed according to Ky Transportation. Please be safe and stay tuned to as we navigate the incoming winter weather.
