🧊 The Trinomial Cube… but make it BLINDFOLDED! 🙈
One of the coolest things about Montessori materials is how they grow right along with the child. The Trinomial Cube is a perfect example! What begins as a beautiful, hands-on sensorial puzzle for younger children eventually becomes a concrete introduction to some pretty big mathematical ideas in the elementary years.
And when our elementary students have worked with it enough? Well… apparently seeing the cube is optional. 😂
Watching them take on the challenge of building the Trinomial Cube blindfolded is such a fun reminder of just how deeply they come to understand these materials. Same cube, different ages, SO many layers of learning. ❤️
And speaking of the Trinomial Cube… have you ever heard her story about the Trinomial Cube and her very first day at a Montessori school? 👀😂
If not, you’re missing a good one! Make sure you ask her about it the next time you see her. ❤️
