Calling all creative Hillsboro students! Our Pumpkin Decorating Contest is a fun way to show off your artistic talents and help decorate for Trunk or Treat!

Here’s how to participate:

• Decorate a pumpkin of any size.
• Write your name on the bottom.
• Drop it off during the morning car rider line on October 26 or 27. Volunteers will be ready to safely bring your pumpkin inside.
• Earn Scholar Dollars for your creativity!

We can’t wait to see your creations and fill Trunk or Treat with festive pumpkins!

Congratulations to our Hillsboro Girls Soccer Team—the 2026 TSSAA Middle School Class A STATE CHAMPIONS!

Our Lady Indians secured the title with a 1–0 victory over Norris Middle! 🎉

What an incredible finish to a season filled with hard work, determination, and teamwork. We are so proud of our players and coaches, and grateful to the families and fans who cheered them on!

⚽ HEMS boys soccer tryouts are coming up! Middle school students, get ready to hit the field as we prepare for the spring season!

⚽ Tryouts: October 21 & 22 | 3:30–5:00 PM
⚽ Open Play: October 23 | 3:30–4:30 PM

Bring shin guards, water, and a positive attitude! Students must have an updated physical on file before participating.

Celebrate Halloween with Hillsboro's Trunk or Treat Event on Thursday, October 29th!

Sign up for a reserved parking space to showcase your trunk! Decorate your trunk in a spooky, scary or fun Halloween theme. Don't forget to bring candy to share with the school's trick or treaters and a table to put candy on. Also, any power needed for your trunk please make sure to have whatever you plaln to create.

Set Up: 4:00-4:45pm (No cars will be let in to set up after 5pm for safety reasons.)

Trunk or Treating: 5:30-7:00pm

Please bring donations of candy for all the trunk or treaters. Please sign up and send in so we can have a successful Trunk or Treat. Thank you!

🏀 Calling all Hillsboro girls in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade!

Want to join the basketball team? Come to practice tomorrow, Monday, October 5, from 3:45–4:45 PM in the school gym!

No tryouts required—all interested girls are welcome to be on the team. Bring your tennis shoes to school and head to the gym after dismissal.

We’re looking for a few more teammates and would love to have you join us! 🏀
