A few cents may not feel like much at checkout, but together, those small gifts can help an adult take a much bigger step.

Through Walmart Spark Good Round Up, you can round your Walmart.com or Walmart app purchase to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to South Central Literacy Council. Your change can help an adult strengthen their English, prepare for a high school equivalency credential, learn to read with greater confidence, or build practical skills for everyday life.

It is a simple way to support adults who are working hard to create new possibilities for themselves and their families.

Yesterday, we officially closed on our former location, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

As the South Central Literacy Council settles into our new location, we’re excited for what’s ahead. We look forward to continuing to serve adults and families throughout South Central Kentucky and the bordering communities of Tennessee, providing literacy, education, and opportunities that make a lasting difference.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout this transition. Your encouragement and support have meant so much, and we’re excited for this next chapter.

The South Central Literacy Council is moving, and we have office furniture, equipment, and supplies available for sale.

If you’re looking for desks, tables, chairs, shelving, office décor, or other items, we’d love for you to take a look before we move.

To schedule a time to browse the available items, please text Karrie at 270-586-7234 or send us a Facebook message.

I’ll be posting photos of available items over the next several days, so check back often as more items are added!
