PB & J Day School

We had a GREAT first week at PB&J's Summer Session!!!! From smelling flowers to making popsicle tents, we had fun!!!! 😁

Not only did we celebrate our amazing teachers last week, but we also celebrated our amazing moms!! The Mommy and Me flower cart visited our classrooms and each of our kiddos made a paper flower bouquet to give mom the flowers she deserves! We love the moms, grandmas, and aunts that are apart of the PB&J family!

Wrapping up Teacher's Appreciation Week with a wonderful flower bar from Bloom Bar donated by our amazing parents. We are so thankful for all of the work our parents have put into this week to help our teachers feel appreciated. We are so thankful to call these teachers ours!! This week we hosted our first "Planting with Parents" event! Students decorated seed pots to grow flowers in our classroom gardens and with their families at home! Gardening with children is not only a great outdoor activity but is also beneficial. It teaches them environmental stewardship, can help with emotional regulation, and a sense of pride! We can't wait to see all of our flowers grow!

Spring is here and we are soaking in all the sunshine we can! ☀

Thank you Goose Creek Pediatric Dentistry for coming to visit us today! We learned about why it is important to brush our teeth and what kinds of food sugar bugs like best! 🪥🦷

This week we have been learning about the letter K! Our Bananas took advantage of nicer weather to fly kites and our Strawberries jumped like kangaroos to see how far they could go!
