My name is Beth Hindman, and I am the manager at Fairview Public Library. I have been with WCPL for a little over a year as my family and I moved back to the area last summer. I have worked in public libraries for 20 years in Mississippi, Indiana, and Tennessee. My favorite part of my job is researching and ordering books for our collections at Fairview. I love to hear stories from our patrons about what they are reading and sharing my love of reading with them. Fairview Public Library is a small, but very vibrant library that is adored by its users, and I feel so lucky to be part of its story.

Not only have I had the privilege of working for this library system for 13 years, but I’ve also been a patron of WCPL since childhood. I remember getting my very own library card at the grand opening of the Fairview Branch (a card I still use to this day!), and doing research for papers at the old Five Points location throughout high school. I am proud to be part of an institution that supports literacy in our communities, and am lucky to work with so many people who share in that pride. I look forward to what the future holds for our library and for Williamson County.

I’m a native Nashvillian.
I’ve been with WCPL since 2019, Branch Mgr. since 2023
I’ve worked in or around a library for over 20 years.
Previously, I worked as a book and digital media specialist at Ingram Book Group for 19 years. I love that libraries are not only about books, but also a community hub for people and groups to gather to enjoy time together.
One of my favorite pastimes is reading. My favorite genre is inspirational fiction.
