LearningRx -Franklin Helping kids, teens & adults overcome reading, attention, comprehension & math struggles by strengthening the skills we use to processes/ retain information.

We go beyond tutoring & strengthen the skills we need to be successful in everyday life. Learning and living for children and adults can be more complicated than it needs to be when memory, attention, reading, or comprehension skills are lacking. Our brain training programs at LearningRx use a series of intensive (but enjoyable!) mental exercises to work on how the brain learns, thinks, remembers,

and performs to target and train these poor skills. Clients work one-on-one with their own personal brain trainer, which is one of the things that sets us apart and explains why our results are so successful.

šŸŽ¶ One lesser-known benefit of brain training? It may help strengthen the skills behind better singing and musical abilities!

Phonemic awareness and auditory processing are important for much more than reading. They help your brain notice, distinguish, sequence, and make sense of the sounds you hear.

And those same auditory skills matter when youā€™re listening to musicā€”picking out pitch, rhythm, timing, changes in sound, and even subtle differences between notes.

When you strengthen the brainā€™s ability to process and organize sound, youā€™re building skills that can support both language AND music. šŸŽµ

Today was a bittersweet one. šŸ¤

After months of showing up, doing the hard work, and being committed to becoming the best version of himself, John wrapped up his LearningRx program.

As a therapist, he spends so much of his time supporting others. Thereā€™s something inspiring about watching someone who does that for a living make his own growth a priority, too.

Weā€™re incredibly proud of his commitmentā€”and really going to miss having him around. We have a feeling his training buddy will too. šŸ„¹

People come here to strengthen their brains, but somewhere along the way, relationships form and they become part of our little community. Itā€™s one of our favorite things about this place.
