We miss seeing you here at 38 Main! Until we are here together again, we are excited to introduce VirtualFSPA as we bring classes and lessons to you online beginning on Monday, 3/23! Our schedules will remain the same and you can look forward to attending your classes as you typically do…except that you’ll be at home!

You should have received a BAND invitation from LMS Director, Kim Rezendes, inviting you to your virtual LMS classroom. If you did not, email her and she will send you the invite again.

We're excited for another great year of LMS!

FSPA's unique Little Music School program teaches children as young as 18 MONTHS to play the piano! It's built on the Three Cs – Color, Creativity, and Core.
-COLOR: The program uses color to make written music more accessible to young children by drawing relationships between notations and different hues.
--CREATIVITY: Creative activities encourage children to take ownership of the music-making process and to interpret and express music in their own way.
---CORE: LMS students build a solid musical foundation and benefit greatly from early music instruction. Children develop musical understanding and skills in numerous areas, including ear training, sight singing, sight reading, tonal recognition, rhythm, and note reading. LMS students also become familiar with important musical terminology, concepts, and history, beginning with their first class.

Yesterday, some of our students thought it would be a good idea to make a fence for Santa. They sang all the notes as they built and then, for good measure, we giggled our way through our 2018 rendition of Rudolph. Happy holidays!
