📣 DEAN CLASS OF 1970 — WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Dean College students in this year’s Documentary Filmmaking course are creating a documentary about an important moment in Dean history:

🎥 Dean Junior College and the 1970 student protests against the Vietnam War

The student filmmakers are hoping to speak with members of the Class of 1970 who were on campus at the time and are willing to share their memories in an on-campus, on-camera interview.

Whether you participated in the protests or simply remember the atmosphere on campus, the conversations among students, or what life at Dean was like during that period, your perspective can help preserve this history.

📩 Interested in participating or learning more?

Please contact student filmmaker AJ Sanchez at [email protected] by September 30.

Thank you for helping today’s students tell this story through the voices of the alumni who lived it.

Dean College Alumni: No matter where you are in your career our upcoming “Industry Exploration Series” has opportunities for alumni to participate on both sides of the table.

💼 If you are established in your field, please join us for the “Industry Exploration Series” to share what you have learned, introduce students and fellow alumni to career paths they may not have considered, and help them begin building the experience and relationships they will need in their careers.

🎓 If you are an alum exploring your next steps, whether you are looking for a new position, considering a change at any stage of your career, or simply hoping to strengthen your professional network, you do not have to navigate it alone.
