We are all so saddened to learn of the sudden passing of our friend and classmate, Sheila (Young) Navoy. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Sheila Annette Navoy
Aug 3, 1949 - June 29, 2024

Sheila Annette Navoy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Saturday, June 29th, 2024 at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth. She was born on August 3rd, 1949 in Bangor, ME to the late Garland and Thelma (Dugan) Young.
Sheila was a dedicated employee at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia, NH, where she worked for over 20 years. She also served as an EMT for the Sanbornton Fire Department. Sheila will always be remembered for her love of her family, especially for her holiday meals where most of the family gathered under one roof.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Michael Navoy, son Tadge Navoy and daughter Michelle Navoy both of Thornton, grandchildren; Jesse (Craig) Larsen, Sam Navoy, Nora Navoy, Sarah Navoy and Isabelle Navoy, and her great grandson Asher Larsen. She is also survived by her brother Mike (Holly) Young of Meredith, sisters Sharon Barclay and Wanda Huckins both of Northfield, Aunt Judy Benner of Waldoboro Maine, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and others who knew her as "nanno" or "mum".
A Private, family Celebration of Life will be held at the Smart Memorial Home, 584 West Main St. in Tilton, NH on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date in Park Cemetery in Tilton. Sheila will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations/gifts be made directly to a family/person in need or a privately owned animal rescue.

The weather was perfect and it was definitely a fun time catching up with our dearest and oldest (as in longtime!) friends! We had lots to talk about and many more memories were made. Thank you to all who joined us for our 55th class reunion!

Our 55th class reunion is now just a little more than 3 weeks away, on Aug 27th! We are excited to see everyone and to catch up on the past few years. As a reminder, we have Pavilion #2 reserved at the Elm Brook Recreation Park in Contoocook. This is a totally casual event. (Bring your own food and drinks....alcohol permitted). Cook something on the grill or pick up a sandwich at Subway on your way! Come early, stay late or just drop in for a visit. We'd love to see you!

NH residents get free entrance into the Park …oh, that is if you happen to be 65 or older!! All others pay $5 a carload. For more information go to recreation.gov

In 1967 the year 2022 seemed ions away! But, as it turned out, it went by in the blink of an eye. Remember when we were kids and we just couldn't wait for recess? for school to get out? to get our drivers license? for that first date? to spend summers at the "new" beach? for graduation? But, as much as we wanted those times to pass, it doesn't compare to how much we would give to have those days back again! Maybe not permanently, but at least long enough to go "home" again and reconnect with old friends. So much has happened since then. We've travelled to all corners of the world, fought wars, worked hard at our careers, raised families, and lost loved ones. Now we enjoy the best job in the world just being Gramma and Grampa! All of that being said, lets all try to make a concerted effort to attend our 55th. class reunion AUGUST 27th. I'm sure we will all have lots of stories to share! Oh, and don't forget those pictures of the grandkids!

SAVE THE DATE! SATURDAY AUGUST 27TH!
Elm Brook Recreation Area (site 2) has been reserved for our 55th Class Reunion. For those of you who attended our 50th reunion, it is the same pavilion and the details remain pretty much the same. The site is ours from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. so come early, stay late or just stop in to say hello. Bring your own food and drinks (alcoholic beverages permitted, no kegs).

There is a charcoal grill available and you’re welcome to bring a self contained gas grill if you prefer.

No campfire
No pets
Non electric

Please bring a garbage bag and take out whatever you bring in.
