UT Extension-Williamson County Community outreach programs teaching youth life skills through 4-H, adult agriculture programs, and family and consumer sciences.

We are located in the Williamson County Ag Expo Park. To enter our office, please park in front of the Ag Expo Park and walk up the side walk towards the glass doors, under the large "Williamson Co Ag Expo Park" sign. At the building you will enter through the single green door to the right of the glass doors and then through the double doors on your right inside the lobby.

Congratulations to our State Poultry Judging team who placed 3rd in the State Poultry Judging Contest on Saturday! The team qualified to compete by placing in the top 4 teams at the Central Region contest in September. The State contest took place on Saturday, October 10 on The University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville. Students compete by evaluating live hens for past egg production and present oral reasons for their placings. In addition, they evaluate and grade market eggs for quality grades on exterior egg quality, broken out egg quality and candling egg quality. Finally, they evaluate and grade whole carcasses, parts identification, parts quality and further processed parts.
The team was comprised of (pictured left to right) Brylie N., Sydney C., Aria B., and Matthew R. We are incredibly proud of this team of students and their families for the work they have done and the skills they have developed. They always represent Williamson County 4-H well in all of their endeavors.

Congratulations to our Williamson County 4-H Poultry Judging Teams! These students have worked hard preparing for weeks in hands-on practices learning quality grading standards for poultry, poultry meat and eggs. Today, they took their knowledge and skills into competition in the Central Region Poultry Judging Contest and did a great job!
Our Junior Team Won 1st place in the Junior Division. They are pictured left to right: Willow K., Esther K., and Will Z. In addition, Esther was 2nd place overall Junior Individual and Will was 4th place overall Junior individual.
Our Jr. High Team Won 5th Place in the Jr. High Division. Pictured left to right: Ashlynn Z., Hattie Jane C., Leahness D., and Cooper P. Additionally, Leahness was 6th and Hattie Jane was 7th overall individuals in the Jr. High Division.
