After School Tutoring

The Nantahala Learning Center is committed to providing quality academic support for students in Macon County. Each day students are provided the opportunity to work one on one with an academic tutor with the focus on completing individual daily homework assignments as well as supplemental reading and math instruction. Our philosophy is to work closely with your child and tailor the instruction to meet each individual need. We work hard to monitor student progress and track the gains your students are making.

Bus transportation is currently provided from each elementary school in Macon County, MVI, and Macon Middle. We have also received permission for preschool students attending to ride the bus to the NLC with the school aged children.

We will have limited slots available for students enrolled in preschool through 8th grade. NLC Slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis with priority to families choosing full week programming. We ask that each family choose a minimum of 2 days a week. However, if your student is struggling academically or in need of reinforcement in specific academic skills we highly recommend choosing additional days.

At the NLC we work very hard to provide your students with quality academic tutoring at a comparable price to other programs available to you. We ask that you pay within the first 5 days of the month for the current month. For example: October's fees would be due by October 5th. The program costs are listed below:
