At 83, Mexican-born Felipe Espinoza fulfilled a dream decades in the making—graduating from college in Texas. For most of his life, Espinoza prioritized working to provide for his family, setting aside his own academic aspirations. After immigrating to the U.S., he finally enrolled, facing the challenge of returning to the classroom among students generations younger.

With steady resolve, he completed his studies, earning a degree that inspired not only his peers and professors, but his entire community. Espinoza’s story is a testament to perseverance, proving that determination and passion for learning can make “too late” a myth.

It's Scholarship Time!

Ivy Endowment, Inc. is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship funding process.
This year, IEI will provide scholarship opportunities in the following areas:
Graduating high school seniors
One-time renewal awards to previous scholarship recipients; and the
Vera Forte McCain scholarship - for members of Alpha Mu Omega Chapter pursuing graduate education
All scholarship applications are due March 14, 2024
