Welcome back, Wildcats! 💙🤍 Monday, August 24th is the **FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL**, and we are excited to kick off a brand-new school year at PCMHS!

It’s also a BUSY week for Wildcat Athletics! 🏐⛳🏈 Check out this week’s schedule and come out to support our student-athletes!

🔵 **TUESDAY — NAVY OUT!**
Our High School Volleyball team hosts Highland at **6:00 PM**! Wear your NAVY and help us pack the gym!

**WEDNESDAY —JUNIOR CLASS MEETING** 5th period in the auditorium.

🌈 **THURSDAY — NEON OUT!**
Middle School Volleyball opens its season at HOME against Tygarts Valley at **6:00 PM**! Wear your brightest NEON and help us make the gym glow!

🏈 **FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS ARE BACK!**
Our High School Football Wildcats travel to Petersburg to take on the Vikings in their **2026 season opener at 7:00 PM!** Dress out in your Wildcat gear and make the trip to cheer them on!

We also have Middle & High School Golf in action throughout the week, High School Volleyball traveling to Tygarts Valley, and Middle School Football hosting Capon Bridge for a scrimmage Thursday evening!

Pendleton County Middle High School would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Highlands Bank for their generous donation to help purchase NEW PLAY CLOCKS for our football field! ⏱️🏈

Community partnerships like this make such a difference for our students, athletes, coaches, and fans. These new play clocks are another great improvement to our athletic facilities and will benefit our Wildcat Football program for years to come.

We are incredibly grateful to Highlands Bank for continuing to invest in our school, our student-athletes, and the Pendleton County community.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our Back-to-School Open House. A special thanks to Pendleton County Family Support Center for providing free snow cones, North Main Studio & Barbershop for providing free haircuts, and Communities In Schools for providing free school supplies. We appreciate all of our community partners, students, and families. We look forward to a great school year and can't wait to see all of our students on Monday (August 24th).
