This fall, we are offering two opportunities for prospective families to join us for an Admissions Preview Day, either Thursday, October 22, or Tuesday, November 17.

During these special days, families will experience a glimpse of life at New Hope Academy through devotions, a campus tour, and conversations with our Head of School, Academic Directors, and Director of Admissions. You will learn more about our Christ-centered mission, academic approach, and the ways we partner with families to help students flourish academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Some names are more than names on a building. They represent stories and legacies worth passing on.

Legendary Tennessee State University track coach Ed Temple was a friend of New Hope Academy, visiting our students each year around his September birthday to share his wisdom, receive handmade cards and prayers, and, of course, enjoy a piece of birthday cake.

Ten years after his passing, we continue that tradition through Coach Ed Temple Day, ensuring that the students who learn each day in the wing bearing his name know the remarkable man behind it.

This year, we were especially honored to welcome Coach Temple’s daughter, Edwina Temple, along with Olympian and Tigerbelle Chandra Cheeseborough-Guice and other special guests who helped us remember his extraordinary legacy.

New Hope's fifth- and sixth-grade students spend their school days in the wing that bears Coach Temple's name. Coach Ed Temple Day was established to ensure they understand why.

Connected Community — one of New Hope Academy’s core values, and one we were so grateful to celebrate today!

Our Family Picnic was filled with all the things that make our New Hope community special: lots of fried chicken, friendly rounds of corn hole, dancing, and plenty of time together.

It was especially fun to see our current families alongside some of our alumni who came back to celebrate their New Hope Family.

A huge shoutout goes out to The SAP Club for adding even more fun with their amazing face painting!

We’re in Week 3 of our Stronger Together Campaign, and we are so grateful for the generosity of our New Hope community! We’re now at 52% toward our 90% family participation goal, bringing us closer to unlocking the $10,000 challenge gift.

Our faculty and staff have already reached 100% participation, with many choosing to give monthly. Now, we’re inviting our parent community to join them.

At New Hope, we like to say that mighty oaks grow from tiny acorns. A monthly gift, no matter the amount, provides steady support for the financial aid that helps make a New Hope education accessible to families in our community.

Our goal is to welcome 10 new parent monthly donors during Stronger Together. Two families have already said yes. Will you be one of the next eight?

As a thank-you, new monthly donors, or current donors who increase their recurring gift, will receive a limited-edition NHA soccer scarf while supplies last.

We’re officially in Week 2 of our Stronger Together Annual Fund, and we’re so grateful for everyone who has already participated! We’re currently at 38% toward our 90% family participation goal. And there’s more to celebrate: our Board, faculty, and staff have reached 100% participation!

In this week’s video, campaign chairs and NHA parents Joel and Cristina Morales share a little of their own journey. They’ve experienced both sides of financial aid at New Hope, from paying full tuition to navigating a season of job loss and receiving financial aid themselves. Through every season, they continued to give what they could. Because that’s what community looks like.

As Joel shares, once we’ve cared for our own families, we look to our community. For so many of us, New Hope is that community. And it’s sustained by families who believe every child should have the opportunity to be here, regardless of circumstance.

New Hope Academy is a community built on purpose, and every year, more than 1,000 people give to help advance our mission and make this community possible.

This year, anonymous donors have pledged $10,000 in challenge gifts that will be unlocked when we reach 90% family participation.

We’re excited to see New Hope Academy’s newest chapter featured in the Williamson Herald as we welcome Stephen Steiner as our Head of School.

With nearly 30 years of experience in Christian education and a deep commitment to Christ-centered, mission-driven schooling, Stephen brings a wealth of leadership, wisdom, and passion to the New Hope community. We’re grateful for the Lord’s guidance throughout this transition and look forward to all that lies ahead as Stephen leads New Hope Academy in the years to come.
