Indiana Delegation with Recipients at the Order of the Purple Cross in Des Moines, Iowa.

Congratulations to all who received the Order of the Purple Cross (OPC) this weekend in Des Moines, IA from Indiana including our own Companion Knight Jim Castor.

This is the highest honor awarded in the Ancient York Rite of Freemasonry.

The other Recipients were: David G Morgan, Timothy Brinkmeyer ( #55), Terry Bisping ( #72), Dion Diakis ( #73), and Regan Gusler ( #207). CK Vernon Patchett ( #133) was also supposed to be a recipient but recently passed away prior to this weekend.

Thank you to Grand Governor James Catania; Deputy Grand Governors: Larry Williams, Dennis Schraeder Sr, and Phil Whisner; and Past Grand Governors: Robert Frazer, Kris Wesley Phillips, and Marty Evens who were in attendance.

Congratulations to Lady Dee Ann Emerick Ellington who received the Diamond Award from Past Governor Chris Steel. She is also a distant relative of our Namesake Rev. Marvin L. Isley and Lady of Companion Knight Randal P Ellington, she is also picture with Grand Governor James Catania and Deputy Grand Governor Dennis Schraeder. All 3 Companion Knights served as Presiding Grand Officers of the 3 York Rite Bodies together.
