Our little preschoolers made **Rock Buddies** to help express and identify their emotions! 🪨💛 Each buddy has a special place in our cozy corner, where we can go when we need a little extra help processing our big feelings. 🌈✨

Learning that all feelings are okay—and that we have safe ways to work through them—is such an important part of growing! 💕

Learning about our emotions through hands-on play! 💛🎨 We recreated our own Color Monsters, sorted through our feelings in the sensory bin, and used loose parts to create different facial expressions. What a fun way to explore big feelings through creativity, play, and connection! 🌈

Can you guess the common theme across all of our classrooms? 👀✨

Learning through play!💛

From exploring family life and building our own homes, to getting messy, following our curiosity, and diving into the interests that inspire us—our classrooms are full of opportunities to learn, create, discover, and grow through play. 🏡🎨🧩✨

Because when children are having fun, they’re learning too! 🌱

Today in our 3-year-old class, our students loved learning all about themselves and their amazing bodies! 🦴✨

What started as a lesson about our bodies quickly turned into a deep fascination with skeletons and bones. Instead of sticking to our original plan, we followed their curiosity—and that’s where the best learning happened!

We asked questions, explored together, and discovered so much. The children built their own bones, investigated X-rays, and even celebrated their new knowledge with a fun skeleton dance! 💀💃

When we follow children’s interests, we create meaningful, engaging learning experiences that inspire a lifelong love of discovery. 💛

At TOB School, nurturing meets growth. 🌱✨

As we wrap up our first week of school, we’re gently sliding into routines and structure that help our classrooms thrive. While routines may seem simple, they provide children with a sense of security and confidence. When children know what to expect, they feel safe to explore, learn, and grow.

This week, our students have been learning classroom expectations, practicing safety, building friendships, and developing important social-emotional skills through meaningful interactions with their peers. Every conversation, shared activity, and daily routine is laying the foundation for a successful school year.

We’re so proud of all they’ve accomplished already, and we can’t wait to watch them continue to blossom. 💛

Our classroom transformed into a city of imagination today! Inspired by buildings found in the real world, our preschoolers explored architecture and engineering using colorful lucite blocks, cardboard bricks, magnetic tiles, and wooden blocks.

As they designed, built, tested, and rebuilt their creations, they strengthened spatial awareness, critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and early STEM skills. Every structure reflected a unique idea, proving that play-based learning gives children the freedom to explore, experiment, and discover.

When children are inspired by the world around them, their imagination has no limits—and that’s where meaningful learning begins. 🏗️✨

We turned ordinary cardboard into an entire city! 🏙️🎨 From painting colorful buildings to bringing our imaginations to life, every little creator helped build something amazing. It was messy, exciting, and full of hands-on learning—the kind of play that sparks creativity, teamwork, and big smiles!

Today our preschoolers became engineers through play! Using colorful popsicle sticks, counting bears, and cups, they designed and constructed their very own bridges. As they experimented with different ideas, they practiced problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, and early STEM concepts—all while having so much fun.

In a play-based classroom, every invitation to create becomes an opportunity to learn. We love watching our little learners discover that their biggest ideas can come to life, one bridge at a time! 🌈🧸🌉

Today our preschool engineers explored STEM using pool noodles and toothpicks!

Children experimented with circles and half-moons to design floating structures, strengthening fine motor skills while testing their ideas.

Some creations floated, others tipped over—but every challenge became an opportunity to think, adjust, and try again.

That’s the beauty of play-based learning: children build confidence by exploring, experimenting, and discovering that there’s more than one way to solve a problem.

✨ What if crafts could teach science, creativity, and curiosity—all at once? 🌊

Today our little learners dove into the amazing world of jellyfish! 🪼 Using paper plates and colorful tissue paper, they created their very own jellyfish while strengthening fine motor skills and expressing their creativity.

As we crafted, we discovered fun facts about jellyfish, including how their tiny stingers help them catch food and protect themselves. Through hands-on play, conversations, and art, learning came to life in a way that’s meaningful, engaging, and fun.

At our play-based preschool, every activity is thoughtfully designed to spark wonder, encourage exploration, and build a lifelong love of learning—because the best learning happens when children are actively creating, discovering, and playing. 💙
