Our Junior High athletes are getting ready to compete, and we need a few awesome community members to help keep the games running smoothly! 🗣️

We are currently looking for volunteers for Jr. High Home Games:
🔹 Volleyball: 1 Scoreboard operator 🏐
🔹 Football: 1 Scoreboard operator & 3 Chain Gang members 🏈

Check out the new junior high football jerseys! 💙🩵

Varsity sports get the priority for uniforms, but we have been working hard behind the scenes for our junior high athletes. We are steadily replacing older gear with modern, properly fitting uniforms so our younger players feel proud and confident when they compete.

🔬 Hands-On Science in 5th Grade! 🩵

Our Warriors in Ms. Glandon’s class are putting real-world science to the test! 🧪 Today’s experiment asks a classic question: How many drops of water can a single penny hold? 🪙💧 Adena Local School District

Notice how the water stacks up into a high dome before overflowing! That is surface tension at work—water molecules clinging tightly together in a cohesive bond. Most students reach 25 to 35 drops before the bubble breaks! 🧠✨

Teamwork makes the dream work in Mrs. Kinkey’s classroom! 🥤🧵✨

Our Warriors put their communication skills to the test with a hands-on cup-stacking challenge. Working in teams using only strings, students had to strategize, communicate, and stay focused to build their towers. 💬🤝

This is what engaging, real-world learning looks like in action at Adena Local School District —learning to collaborate, problem-solve, and grow together! 💙📚💡
