Chapter Officers attended the District D Summer Leadership Training on Sunday.

They were led by District D Officers that included two of our own (Tessa and Claire) and learned about what it means to be a chapter officer. They also got to meet Willie!

It’s easy to join FCCLA, whether it’s your first year or your 6th, just pay your dues and attend the first meeting!

FCCLA is open to all students 7-12! You can join at anytime whether you are a 7th grader or a senior. It’s a great way to meet new people, build your leadership skills, and learn skills that will help you in every area of your life!

Day 5 of NLC!

Scarlet and Karmen received a gold medal and placed 10th in the Nation for their STAR Event.
Braelyn received a bronze medal for her STAR Event.
Lawsyn received a silver medal and placed 9th for her STAR Event.

We attended STAR Event Recognition and Closing Session before ending our evening on a Moonlight Tour of the Monuments!

We are up very early this morning to make our way home after a week of learning, leading, and being inspired!

Day 4 of NLC was Memorable!

We attended the FCCLA Rally on the Hill, the National Botanical Gardens, the American History Museum, the Kansas FCCLA Potomac Cruise, and the FCCLA General Session!

We put in a full 12 hour day that included a stop at District Taco, a few interesting metro rides, and getting caught in a major rain storm without an umbrella!

We also found out Karmen, Scarlet, and Lawsyn all placed in the top 10 for their STAR Events! We will find out full results tomorrow on all STAR Events!

Day 3 included workshops and RED talks, the Business Session of FCCLA, a trip to Chinatown for Ramen, a stroll through the National Art Gallery, and the Member Recognition Session!

Day 2 of NLC!

All the girls competed in their STAR Events today and we got to attend the Nationals Baseball Game with FCCLA!

We arrived in DC safely yesterday!

Tessa, Claire, and Mylee all competed in their challenge tests.

Jennifer and Tessa helped lead the state meeting and we attended opening session.
