Camp Lookout Overnight summer camp on the shores of Lake Michigan for kids 7-15. Unplugged & inclusive FUN!

Our camp is small enough for everyone to know each other, yet large enough to offer diversified and interesting programs. Activities include sailing, overnight trips, bicycling, canoeing, art, music, drama, creative writing + a variety of sports and games. Also offer specialty programs for teens including sailing, mountain biking, backpacking, kayaking. Camp Lookout is located near Frankfort, MI,

35 miles west of Traverse City -- a 5-hour drive from Detroit and a 6-hour drive from Chicago. Our property is nestled between Lake Michigan and Lower Herring Lake and is accessible only by boat.

Every camper is assigned to a cabin with 5-7 other campers who are a similar age and grade. While you aren’t expected to spend all of your activity or meal time with your cabin group, don’t be surprised if you end up in a cabin with your new best friends!

A simple cardboard box can become a building block in our fantasy cityscape, the framework for our cool new car, a set piece in our EP skit, and so, SO much more!

It’s amazing what we can dream up and create when we have time and space to let our minds wander and explore!
