Monday, January 8th UPDATE (From Tim): CLARIFICATION: (We rejoice in small victories, and praise God for those. I just didn’t want there to be a false misunderstanding of Mom’s overall condition, which remains very serious.)
Mom had a more restful night last night than she’s been having during her illness.That was good both for her and for Terry, who stayed with her last night. I’m posting this photo I just took of her because we’re so thankful that Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy was able to get her into a chair and sit up for a while. This is a positive step.

Mom has been communicating with us by little hand signals she has cleverly devised, and by writing notes to us.

I asked her if she had anything specific she’d like to say in this post, and she wrote down a message:
“Thanks for prayers! Keep on!”

We’re still praying for a miracle of healing in Mom’s life. She has told us many times that she will give God all the glory, and testify of the great things He has done in her life.

Please pray specifically not only for her lungs to clear up, but that she can transition for periods of time to a less aggressive form of oxygen treatment, building up her lungs.

Mom is rely on promises from God’s Word to give her strength. She pointed to Philippians 4:13 to include in this message: “
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

I’m not a Social Media expert or even utilize it much, but I know some who will see this are. For Mom’s benefit, I’d like to see if we can use it to help. If you have expertise in this area, send me a direct message please.

1/6/24 1:45 p.m. UPDATE:
This is Tim, Son # 3, with an update on Mom’s condition. First, thanks to everyone for your prayers that have been lifted up for our sweet, precious mother. She and we have felt them. We covet your continued prayers, and to pray even harder for her. If you have friends in other churches, local, nationwide, or internationally, please ask for special prayer for her.

Mom had an episode late last night/early this morning that the doctors and staff (with God’s help) were able to get stabilized.

Since she has been unable to get little to no nutrition the last few days, they are going to be addressing that in the next few minutes or hours. Pray specifically that goes well, as well as the continued prayer for her lungs to clear.

We cannot express how grateful we are for the outpouring of love from everyone. But then again, anyone who has ever known Mom knows what a very special servant of the Lord she is.

Update 1/5/23: Ms. Vivian is about the same but arrived at the hospital safely last night at Baptist Health by helicopter. Her medical team is working to remove the fluid she has and treat everything else. Please continue to keep her and the boy’s in your prayers. 🙏✝️❤️

Prayer Request: This is Jerry’s wife Bridgette and Our Ms. Vivian has been in the Frankfort Hospital very sick with FluA/RSV/ & Pneumonia for several days. They have flown her by helicopter to Baptist Health tonight. She is fighting hard and taken her first flight at 90. I am asking everyone to please help fight with her in prayer by praying for her healing and for God’s peace for her. Our God has been answering prayers by her still being here with us. Thank you for your prayers for her. Please also pray for her boys: Terry, Jerry, Todd, & Tim as they have been staying around the clock with her and all the medical staff who will be caring for her. I will update this when I know more🙏✝️
