We truly live in an Amazing and Blessed Community! With the donations from those in and around our community we are meeting the basic needs of our students.

This week we were able to send home Thanksgiving meals that included a Turkey, stuffing, corn, potatoes, gravy, rolls, and pie to TWENTY-SEVEN families to ensure they could enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Not only may this provide todays meal, in some families this will allow meals for a couple days.

We would not be able to do this without you! Thank you for loving others that you may not even know, by giving to those families who need an extra hand and supporting our mission to meet our students in need.

Thank you to Vickie Slater and all the volunteers who put together the Can Do Carnival this past Sunday. A special thank you to all those who participated in this event by donating ”Can” goods to our Elementary Student Pantry. We greatly appreciate the support and donations.

With the universal free lunch program ending, I believe our Student Pantry need will increase! How can you help? Please consider donating to the pantry as we return to school, we will have a bin set up for Back to School night! Please make sure you fill out the lunch program paperwork! Did you know that even if you don’t qualify for free or reduced lunch just filling out the paperwork benefits our school & allows us access to different grants? It does!

We will have students return to us from the break eager to return to two meals each day. We are stocked & ready to tend to students food insecurity, however product will likely move quickly the next few weeks. Please consider donating to either of our pantries. Donations (for either pantry) can be dropped off to the HS main office.
Great options to be on the lookout for while shopping:
Beef jerky, granola/protein bars, cereal, trail mix, crackers, popcorn, pretzels, dried fruit, pop tarts, breakfast bars, apple sauce pouches, shelf sustainable yogurt & milk, flavored waters or sports drinks.
Self contained meals or meal kits (for example): Mac n’ Cheese cups, oatmeal cups, microwavable soups, pancake cups, Ramen or Noodle meals, mashed potato cups.

A video from our Mobile Elementary Pantry! This has been a much needed extension since the very beginning. We continue to work hard to combat the food insecurity that exists right in our classrooms to the best of our ability. 💜💛

Thank you so much for the continued support. We have expanded to meet the needs of our elementary students. Over 30 elementary students are shopping the mobile pantry at the elementary! I am very thankful for the elementary liaison who is volunteering countless hours to help support our elementary students.
