Parents - please join us for the last PTO meeting of the school year! Thursday, May 14th at 4pm in the Library. We are seeking one new board member for next year and committee leaders/members for 2026-27 school year events! Really hoping for some younger grade parents to get involved, so if that's you, please come out or reach out!

It's not too late to sign up for the 2026 JMC Color Run! The best family fun run around, including DJ (Mr.) Williams, Soak a Teacher stand, Hometown Creamery ice cream (included with your ticket!) and it's all happening this Saturday, May 16th at 9am. Reach out if you need a new form sent home!

This morning we hosted an appreciation breakfast for our wonderful bus drivers, cafeteria staff and custodians! Our students thrive thanks to all that you do for them! Thank you Surf Bagel & Deli for partnering with us on the delicious breakfast sandwiches!

We wrapped up Teacher Appreciation Week with Florals and Fizz today! Huge shout out to Simply Sawyer for partnering with us on the sweetest bouquets. Each was delivered with love by one of our 4th or 5th grade Honor Society students! Thank you to Cassie Queen for sponsoring Wild Fizz for our teachers to enjoy in the break room! We also gifted local gift cards to Frankford Family Diner, Juicebox and Bethany Beach Books - all of which were donated by their generous business owners! Teachers - we hope you have felt all the love and appreciation this week. Thank you for all you do and especially for helping our students grow!

Our "Friends of PTO" drawing took place at the 4/15 PTO Meeting and included those in attendance at the meeting and the volunteers from the Scholastic Book Fair and Bunny Palooza! Our sincerest THANK YOU to all of these amazing people who have given of their time to PTO recently: Colleen Howell, Jackie Decker, Pat Kopolka, Teal Richards, Brigitta Canfield, Mr. Williams, Cynthia Calixto, Haley Donaway, Ann Rodgers, Aaron Howell, Mrs. Bauer, Katelyn Green, Dr. Booth, Mary Hastings, Ravin Davidson, and Joey Venezia.

CONGRATS and thank you!!!! Our last meeting of the year is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13th at 4:00pm in the JMC Library. We have a variety ways you can volunteer between now and then for any parents, guardians or staff - please reach out!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to work with the Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation at this year's Bunny Palooza event in Bethany Beach, DE! Mr. Williams and our choir brought all the feelings with the intro choral performance, and our volunteers added lots of fun with face painting, games and other activities, as well as great service at the post-race food tables! So many of our students also participated in the run and some even brought home awards! We can not be prouder of all the families who were involved, and are especially grateful to Mr. Williams and Mrs. Bauer who lead the event and organized both the students and volunteers. If you are a JMC parent and willing to be involved, please reach out to a PTO board member! We have a couple additional events to finish out the year, and we can't do them alone. It is the most rewarding volunteer work you can do! Thank you again to all who participated and volunteered, and congrats to all our vocalists and runners! You are CHAMPIONS!
