Let me just brag on my team for a minute ❤️
Yesterday was one of the busiest and most rewarding days of the year at Rise & Shine.
Graduation Day is always a huge celebration, but there’s so much that happens behind the scenes before the first family even walks through the doors. It truly takes a team to make it all happen.
This year was especially meaningful for me because, for the first time, I wasn’t a part of running the graduation ceremony. My team worked alongside me all day preparing everything before the celebration began, from setting up chairs and tables to decorating, organizing the photo backdrop, making sure the classroom was ready, and ensuring every last detail was in place.
Then, when it was time for the ceremony to begin, they ran the show. They kept everything running smoothly, and made sure the entire celebration came together beautifully, allowing me to sit in the audience and simply be Mom while I watched my own daughter graduate.
That is a memory I will cherish forever.
Because of them, I was able to be fully present for one of the biggest milestones in my daughter’s life, and that is a gift I will never forget.
Watching our Pre-K 5 class receive their diplomas and superlatives was incredibly special. These sweet children have grown so much over the past year, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything they’ve accomplished. They are officially kindergarten-ready, and we know they are going to do amazing things as they begin this next chapter.
To our incredible Pre-K 5 teachers, thank you. The confidence, kindness, knowledge, patience, and love you poured into these children was evident in every song they sang, every smile they shared, and every proud moment during yesterday’s ceremony. Your dedication helped shape these little lives, and that is something truly special.
And to every other member of our Rise & Shine team, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I asked for a lot of favors yesterday, and not one person let me down. Whether you helped prepare before the ceremony, stepped into classrooms, covered for someone, welcomed families, lent an extra hand wherever it was needed, or simply kept the day running smoothly, every single act of support made a difference.
Yesterday was the perfect example of what teamwork looks like. I feel incredibly blessed to lead a team that genuinely cares, not only about our children and families, but about each other. Knowing I could count on my team to step up when I needed them allowed me to experience one of the most meaningful moments of my life as a mom, and I will always be grateful for that.
To our graduates, congratulations! 🎓
We are so proud of each and every one of you. Thank you to our families for trusting us to be part of your children’s early years. It has been an honor to watch them learn, grow, and become the amazing little people they are today. We can’t wait to see all the wonderful things they’ll accomplish in kindergarten and beyond!
If you took any photos or videos from graduation, we’d love to see them! Please share them in the comments below 📸💛
With Love & Gratitude,
