Here are the top grads of FHS Class of 2026, fifty years after our class.
It’s Commencement Week! 🎓2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣🎓
As we continue celebrating the accomplishments of the FHS Class of 2026, we are proud to recognize this year's “Top 10:” the ten seniors who earned the highest cumulative GPAs after eight semesters of high school. We're also pleased to announce this year's Valedictorian, Anthony Plana, and Co-Salutatorians Natalie Foltz and Morgan Kniebbe! 👏👏👏
All of these students have consistently performed at exceptional academic levels while also embracing some of the most rigorous coursework available at FHS. Collectively, these ten seniors successfully completed more than 50 Advanced Placement exams during their sophomore and junior years, and this year alone attempted an additional 35 AP exams that may translate into additional college credit.
Their achievements are part of the larger culture of academic challenge and opportunity at FHS. This year, 46 seniors took at least one AP course and exam, combining for a total of 114 AP exams taken by seniors, and a combined total of 248 exams taken by 127 sophomores, juniors, and seniors during the first two weeks of May! 📚✏️ AP scores will be released in July, and we look forward to celebrating the success of all of our AP students as those results become available.
Beyond academics, these students have been active in athletics, fine arts, leadership organizations, clubs, volunteer service, work experiences, and community involvement throughout their high school careers. Their accomplishments reflect not only talent, but also perseverance and commitment over time.
Join us in congratulating these students for this outstanding achievement, and stay tuned for more Class of 2026 celebrations and recognitions throughout Commencement Week! 🦅

Today is Maundy Thursday, when the church reflects on the first Lord’s Supper. The tombstone of classmate Jack’s parents (John & Ivy) could have portrayed clocks or jewelry, but they chose something more precious. The border of wheat and grapes symbolizes the bread and wine consecrated at Holy Communion.

Classmate Curt Reinbold is honored at his retirement from Blasius. Congratulations!
I want to introduce January's Employee Appreciation recipient, Curt R., Senior Customer Service Advisor. He was nominated by Mike G. He is quoted as such "For those of you that don’t know Curt , he has been in the stone business for a long, long time. So long that he is about to retire at the end of this month, so I see it only fitting to celebrate the long illustrative career he has had. It has been an absolute privilege to work with him. If you have had the opportunity to work with Curt, you would know not only how much knowledge and the high degree of craftsmanship and talent that he brings to the table but how great his attitude, understand and passion for what he does by not only getting the job done perfectly, but by teaching and inspiring at the same time. If you do not know Curt, I highly recommend introducing yourself to him before he retires, he is one a of a kind individual that is truly a pleasure to be around. It has been an honor to work alongside him, and he will be greatly missed."
