Our Lost & Found has officially reached “How do we have THIS much stuff?!” status!

We have jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, and plenty of other treasures just waiting to be reunited with their owners!

This afternoon during pickup (weather permitting), we’ll have our Lost & Found outside of the main entrance so families can take a peek and help these lonely belongings find their way home.

Come take a look! Your child’s long-lost hoodie might just be waiting for a happy reunion!

Let’s get these treasures back where they belong!

🚧 Roadwork Alert for Mon. & Tues. 🚧

Weather permitting, MDOT construction is planned for Monday, October 12th and Tuesday, October 13th, 2026.
Please note that the schedule remains subject to change.

Main Street will not be detoured during construction. Traffic will be shifted as work progresses.

Morning school traffic is anticipated to remain unaffected both days. However, afternoon school traffic may be impacted depending on the work's progress.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and allow additional travel time.

Today is World Mental Health Day, a reminder that every feeling matters.

It’s okay to feel happy, sad, frustrated, worried, or overwhelmed. What matters is learning to recognize those feelings, talk about them, and know when to ask for help.

At List Elementary, we want every student to know that all feelings are okay, asking for help is a strength, and no one has to navigate difficult emotions alone.

As Mister Rogers reminded us, “Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable.” ❤️🦅

Picture retakes for all List Elementary students will take place on Wednesday, October 14.

Students getting retakes should bring their original picture package and $8 (cash or check) for Rummel Studios.

Friday, October 9 is an early dismissal day for the Frankenmuth Schools.
Regular transportation is provided to school in the morning and home again after the 12:30 pm dismissal. We thank our families for supporting the scheduled monthly early dismissal days as they provide regular opportunities for our teams to meet, train, and collaborate.

It's Wellness Wednesday in the FSD ❤️🩶

On the first Wednesday of each month, we like to take a moment to promote student and staff wellness across the district, and this month's focus is an important one: October is National Bullying Prevention Month, a good reminder that kindness matters, targeting others is never OK, and speaking up can make a difference.

If you see something, experience something, or are concerned about someone, tell a trusted adult or use OK2SAY.

🦅 Happy Coaches’ Appreciation Day! ❤️🩶

Today we celebrate the people who coach, guide, challenge, encourage, and believe in our students.

Whether on the field or court, in the classroom, or alongside one of our clubs and activities, great coaches help young people discover what they’re capable of. They teach skills, build confidence, model perseverance, celebrate growth, and remind students that effort opens opportunity!

To all of our FSD coaches, athletic, academic, and extracurricular, thank you for the time, energy, expertise, and heart you invest in our Eagles. Your impact reaches well beyond a season.
