List Elementary School

Want to spend the best part of the day with some pretty amazing scholars? We are looking for a few caring, dependable people to help supervise our scholars during lunch and recess each school day from 10:45–1:15.

I won’t try to sell this as a get-rich-quick opportunity. What I can sell you on is getting high-fives in the hallway, hearing some wonderfully random lunch-table stories, cheering scholars on at recess, and being another adult in their day who knows their name and is genuinely happy to see them. Those little interactions matter more than you might realize. We have some amazing scholars who would love having you as part of their school day. If you’re a parent, grandparent, retiree, community member, or simply someone who enjoys being around our scholars and has a few hours available during the day, we could really use you.

The second moratorium week has ended, and it's time for the Back-to School excitement to begin!

🦅 Next week is Moratorium Week 2, a dedicated districtwide “down week” with no scheduled activities or events and all FSD offices and buildings closed.

We hope our students, staff, and families take this opportunity to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a little extra summer before another exciting school year begins.

Today, members of the List Elementary team attended Day 1 of the AI & Media Literacy Leadership Collaborative at the Saginaw ISD.

As artificial intelligence continues to transform education, we’re committed to staying ahead of the curve by learning how to use these tools responsibly, ethically, and effectively to support teaching, learning, communication, and leadership. We also explored the growing importance of media literacy and how to help students develop the skills to think critically about the information they encounter every day.

We’re excited to bring new ideas back to List Elementary as we continue preparing our students for the future while supporting our incredible staff.

Thank you to the Saginaw Intermediate School District for hosting this valuable learning opportunity.
