Grandparents’ Day 2026
We hope everyone had a great afternoon! Thank you to our volunteers for helping check people in, taking pictures, running the book fair & serving refreshments!

A special thank you to Gutwein Agency and Auto Owners Insurance for sponsoring our event!

Next week we have both the Scholastic Book Fair 📚 and Grandparents Day 👴 👵!

So prepare yourselves for:
“Can I have money for the book fair?”
Grandma saying “Oh, just let them get it!”
And your child coming home with a book, a poster, a pointer, 3 erasers and somehow no change. 😅

We can’t wait for a fun week!

Thank you to the Koebcke family, Jessica Gutwein, Stephanie Miller and her girls for helping me get everything set up today!

Just a reminder to turn in those volunteer forms or let me know if you can help with the Fall Book Fair (September 28-October 2) or Grandparents Day on September 29. The Book Fair would be a 3.5 hour commitment and Grandparents Day would be a 3 hour commitment from 11:30 ish to 2:30.

We can’t do all these events without your help!! 😊

Grandparents’ Day is coming soon! ❤️

Please check your child’s folder and return the bottom portion of the flyer by Monday, September 14.

Please make sure grandparents are given the correct time to attend.

Kindergarten-2nd grade 12-1
3rd-6th grade is from 1:30-2:30.

The break between sessions allows us time to clear the parking lot and make room for those attending the second session.

Important: For the safety of our students, we are unable to allow anyone in the building who has not signed up in advance. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep our students safe.

We’re looking forward to a wonderful Grandparents’ Day!

Please check your child’s folders for this form and consider volunteering with us this year! This is a great way to meet the staff, get to know other parents, share your ideas and help your child’s school! We have several grandparents that volunteer as well!

Our Fall Book Fair alone takes up to 27 volunteers to run smoothly and is one of our yearly fundraisers.

Please reach out if you have any questions!

We kicked off the school year with some grab and go drinks for our amazing staff to get them through the 1st day!
