-At Metrowest Dance Academy we believe that every student should receive the best possible dance training. We provide support, guidance and expertise to help students to achieve their goals. An holistic training in multiple dance genres with the emphasis on excellent technique, artistry and musicality delivered through progressive structured classes throughout the pre-school to pre-professional years.

-Whether a student attends classes purely for enjoyment or wishes to pursue a professional career in dance, the quality of training they should expect at Metrowest Dance Academy is consistent and the success of each student is the center of the school. We are proud to be a registered school with the internationally renowned Royal Academy of Dance. Our students can expect a broad dance experience in many dance genres.

Yesterday we were treated to Gymnopédie #1 by Satie in advanced open ballet by our fantastic pianist, Harold Charon.
I didn’t manage a recording of it! So pieced together this lovely video taken yesterday as a memory of the moment. The students, one week into the semester, look elegant and strong. It’s a weekly treat for all of us to have Harold accompany the Saturday open ballet classes. ❤️❤️❤️

Our first week continues and on Tuesdays we have a night of ballet, jazz, tap and conditioning. This is a fantastic start to the year. Thanks to our lovely new teacher and front desk lead, Cam, for capturing these photos and videos.

We’re delighted to welcome our new ‘26-28 Teaching Assistants! We were missing Kiera and Anna but are very happy they will continue to be TAs this year!
The Teaching Assistants are a special part of MDA’s experience. They provide extra support for students and teachers in the lower school, helping with the smooth running of classes, welcoming the young dancers every day and being a consistent role model for them throughout the year.
As the assistant teachers gain more experience they develop communication, class management and teaching skills. Confidence builds while they establish closer links to students at different levels within the school.
We’re proud of these students and know our younger dancers are going to gain so much from having them in their classes! 💫❤️👏
