What happens when students are empowered to lead real climate action in their communities? 🌎⚡
This year, 10 Massachusetts high school teams stepped up to tackle local climate and clean energy challenges through the inaugural Youth Climate Solutions Challenge.
From solar energy education and home energy efficiency outreach to community resilience and electrification campaigns, these students showed what youth leadership can look like when paired with creativity, collaboration, and real-world action.
We’re also excited to see local media spotlighting the impact these students are already making:
📰 The Harvard Press featured The Bromfield School’s First Place project, Harnessing the Sun
📰 FIG City News highlighted Newton North High School’s “Newton Youth Energizer Project”
Congratulations again to all of the incredible student teams, advisors, judges, and supporters who made this first year such a success. We can’t wait to see where the Challenge goes next. 🎉
