Congratulations to junior D.A. who recently earned his Eagle Scout badge. He ran a drive to collect clothing for students at Framingham High School who are at risk, struggling, or live in shelters. He led a group of volunteers to organize the donations of over 600 pieces of clothing.
Giving back to the community is a value that Resiliency for Life promotes to its students.

Pictured below is a recent graduate of the Resiliency For Life program proudly entering the freshman dorm as an incoming nursing student. Growing up under difficult conditions in Uganda, he defines the word resiliency. Giving these students a chance and skills to pursue their dreams is what we do!

The RFL Difference:
Each year, Resiliency For Life helps students who struggle to reach their full potential. Our 3rd-year students had a much higher percentage of A’s & B’s and a much lower percentage of D’s and F’s when compared to a comparable student group. Our investment in their future makes a real difference.
From the Friends of Resiliency for Life, we appreciate your role in helping our kids! Check out our new website at https://resiliencyforlife.org/

For any incoming freshmen, the start of a new school can be filled with anxiety. For students who find navigating the school environment challenging, these anxieties are amplified. Finding their way around a huge school, unsure of the written and unwritten rules, coping with a confusing rotating schedule, understanding what extra-curricular opportunities exist, and meeting a whole new group of students can cause extra stress and can become barriers to learning.
Resiliency for Life’s (https://resiliencyforlife.org/) annual summer program is aimed at relieving some of their anxieties, easing their transition to high school as well as giving them a chance to meet fellow students and staff in the program. The program ran for 4 hours per day for 6 days from July 19th through the 28th.
Since the program is voluntary, these are students who WANT help, but change is hard. They started to learn that the RFL staff is there to support them both academically and emotionally, and they also got to know Nala, the program's trained assistance dog.
Your support makes our work possible.
With gratitude.
