SBS FLASH BACK!

Our 6th graders had a "blast" implementing what they learned about Newton’s third law when they launched water rockets outside this past school year.

This past Spring, our 1st graders adopted caterpillars. The students watched the caterpillars form a chrysalis as they went through their metamorphosis. Students continued to observe the caterpillars as they grew and developed. The caterpillars transformed into butterflies about 14 days later, and were released into the Grotto. The students were very excited to watch the butterflies develop, but also sad when they released them to fly away.

One of the highlights that our 8th graders experience, is an 8th grade retreat. The retreat provides an opportunity for students to reflect back upon their 8th grade year, as well as the many years they have spent at SBS. It is a spiritual time to be together, work together, and be present with God.
