As you know, a new cohort from the Master of Education at Framingham State University (FSU), will begin on May 22nd (completely online, six weeks for each course).
Framingham will have an informative session for you to answer all your questions.

Dear Faculty,
Below you will find information regarding the two classes that will be offered online by Framingham State University this summer. Each class will take around eight weeks to complete.
If you would like to take part in both classes or just one of them, please let us know.
• Supervision, Staff Development, and Collaborative Leadership (EDUC 921): Emphasizes issues affecting the professional teacher and staff. Students practice interpersonal and technical skills to assist them in working with others and in improving the quality of classroom instruction the course explores principles of change, trends, and models of staff development, issues related to sharing leadership among teachers and administrators, and the development of the professional culture in schools.
• English as a Second Language and Cross-Cultural Awareness (TESL 928): Emphasis on philosophy, methodology, materials, and research related to the teaching of English as a second language. Attention is given to teaching situations that include students from various cultural backgrounds.

Research and Evaluation (EDUC 999): An introduction to the knowledge and skills necessary to locate and critically read and analyze educational research. The course includes utilization of library resources, designs, statistical analysis of data, classroom assessment procedures, and ways to draw conclusions from empirical studies
