Congratulations to Jess Valentin, School Social Worker at who was the recipient of the Employer of the Year award today at the Celebration of Experiential Learning! Congratulations to Tracie Lopez who received the 2026 Educator Alumni Award from Framingham State University. On April 29th, she was recognized at the Massachusetts State House along with eight other educators who graduated from Massachusetts state universities. Ms. Lopez earned two degrees from Framingham State - a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Secondary Education in 1984 and an M.Ed. In Special in 1998.

Visit Dr. Cressey and his students on Saturday from 12-3 at FSU's Science on State Street Festival hosted by the Christa McAuliffe Center. They will present resources for social-emotional learning (SEL). In EDUC 230, students created a collection of books, songs, and activities that families and educators can use with children in grades PreK-6. View the full collection at the link in our bio. Students in ECED ELED 353 wrote and illustrated placed-based children's books that they then read to preschoolers at the FSU Early Childhood Center. They then helped these children write and illustrate their own books.
