Did you know Framingham State University offers a Nursing Simulation Graduate Certificate?
Designed specifically for registered nurses that hold a BSN or MSN degree, this 3-course hybrid graduate certificate program provides nurses with the knowledge and skills to effectively use simulation methods in nursing education. Start in September and finish in June!
The courses focus on the professional standards for nursing simulation, including simulation design, implementation, and evaluation. The program concludes with an individualized practicum with nursing faculty that is designed to coalesce each student’s knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
Certificate Course Requirements (3):
• NURE 925 Introduction to Clinical Simulation
• NURE 945 Clinical Simulation Design and Evaluation
• NURE 985 Applied Clinical Simulation Practice
Apply for the upcoming Fall 2023 semester.
Submit a completed Graduate Certificate Application form. - Application fee is being waived!

We had the opportunity to host a Massachusetts Rhode Island League for Nursing (MARILN) Mini workshop here at Framingham State University. Twenty nurse educators came together to learn about Moulage. It was lead by our Simulation Certificate faculty Dr. Pat McCauley and Dr. Jan Tuxbury. The program was hands on. We learned a lot and had some fun!
