The Summer Instrumental Music & Chorale (SIMC) for wind, string, percussion, and voice students entering grades 5 through 9 will be held from Monday, July 3rd to Friday, July 14th, 2023.

The program hours are from 8:15 am to 12:15 pm Monday through Friday (Tuesday, July 4th will be off due to In

dependence Day). The summer program faculty members are looking forward to working with your children in their pursuit of becoming better musicians. These adults will be assisted by outstanding college and high school musicians who will serve as camp counselors. Participants will receive a fun and positive musical experience in a variety of group performance areas including: Concert Band, String Orchestra, Choral Ensembles, Small Group Sections, Chamber Music Ensembles, Instrumental/Vocal Techniques, Symphony Orchestra, and Jazz Band. The daily schedule also includes recreational activities such as: kickball, capture the flag, Frisbee, volleyball, spirit days, and a scavenger hunt. Family members are invited to attend a concert to be held at 10:00 am on the last day of the program in the Ahern Auditorium. DATES:
Week 1: July 3 - 7 (Tuesday, July 4 is off)
Week 2: July 10 - 14
(You may select either 1 or 2 weeks)

TIMES:
Monday - Friday
8:15 am - 12:15 pm

TUITION:
2 Weeks - $270. per student
This fee includes an SIMC t-shirt for each participant.
