Girls came together tonight and pressed and played with passion. Couldn't finish it in the 1st half but will take 8-0 win 5 minutes into the 2nd half. Great game ladies! Scoring for the Glads were Lindsay Lemieux with 2, Mia Jaeger, Cailyn Cockerill, Katie Tait, Teela Theibert, Morgan Challis, and Arianna Crossman. The girls next game is Saturday at the Portland Invitational.

Tomorrow we will be hosting Ionia for our first home game of the season. JV will start at 4:00 p.m. and Varsity following at 5:30 p.m. Please come out and support the girls. As a reminder, we will be playing on the Rec Football Field. There will be plenty of parking in the Middle School lot.

Wednesday we will be hosting Haslett. Right now that might just be a Varsity only game but will know more tomorrow.

Friday we will be hosting Lansing Everett and that will only be Varsity with the game starting at 5:30 p.m.

Families,

Our game today is canceled. With the rain that came in, spots on our field is too soft. If we were to play our game as scheduled, the U-19 boys would be playing as well today our field would probably get torn up. For player safety and to keep the opportunity for home games until our game field is ready, we are canceling today to make sure our upcoming games can be played. I will be working with Mr. Osborn to try to reschedule the game at a future date. Thank you all and have a good weekend. We will see everyone Monday for our game at Charlotte.

The Gladiators traveled to Dansville and came away with a 4-1 victory. The Glads came out flying in the first half and put Dansville under pressure and kept the ball on their half of the field. With a majority of the possession and shots the Glads could not find the net. Dansville got a break away and scored to open the scoring. The Glads did not hang their heads and went back to work pressing and keeping possession. The Glads scored the next 2 goals before half and finished the game with 2 more in the 2nd half. Scoring for the Glads were Mia Jaeger, Morgan Challiss, Cailyn Cockerill, and Autumn Carr. Others that played an amazing game were Camille Lako, Natalie Loomis, Arianna Crossman, Avery Challis and Falynne Murphy holding Dansville to 5 shots. The Gladiators next game is Saturday April 9th at 11 a.m. on the Rec Football Field next to the Middle school parking lot. Come out and support the girls.

Our home game for tomorrow has been moved. Unfortunately our home field is unplayable and we do not have another field that is ready. We had to move the game to Eaton Rapids. Bus time will be at 4 p.m. JV will start at 5:30, Varsity will play at 7:00 p.m.

Our first home game will now be this Saturday April 9th at 11:00 a.m. Our normal game field will probably still not be available so come out and support our game at the Rec. Football Field.

On December 7th we will be having a meeting for the upcoming Spring Season in Mr. Sperry's room B-108. The meeting will start at 2:30 and go to about 3:00 p.m. Topics that will be covered are our Off-Season workout schedule, Futsal dates and times, and information about the season.
