Reminder! Open House is tonight from 4:30-6:00 pm. Also, 6th grade/new student Orientation will take place at 6:00 pm in the Junior High Auditorium.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tonight at our Back to School Open House and Information Fair! The school buildings will be open from 4:30-6:00 pm for families and students to meet teachers, visit classrooms and familiarize themselves with their school building.

The Information Fair, which will take place in the south parking lot at the Junior High will run from 4:30-7:00 pm (an hour longer). School and community resources will have tables set up where families can get information that will help make the school year more successful for students.

We can't wait to see you!

Tomorrow, Fowlerville Community Schools will have a Non-Homestead Operational Millage Renewal on the election ballot. Non-Homestead applies to commercial and business properties, rental and apartment buildings and vacation and secondary residences. Property owners do not pay this tax on their primary residence (the main residence in which they live).

This is also a renewal millage meaning voters previously approved the millage in May 2009, May 2012, August 2014, August 2018 and August 2022. The district is seeking authorization to continue collecting this millage when the current approval expires.

Polls will be open from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm. Additional information is available on our website at: https://www.fowlervilleschools.org/district/non-homestead-operational-millage/

Will your student need an alternate pick-up or drop-off location for the 2026-27 school year? If so, be sure to complete the Alternate Busing Form no later than July 31, 2026. The form can be accessed at:https://fowlerville2024-cdn.fxbrt.com/downloads/transportation/transportation-request_for_alternate_busing_1_fillable.pdf

The Fowlerville Transportation Department would like families to know that any current Alternate Busing forms on file with the district will expire on June 5, 2026. If your student(s) will need an alternate pick-up or drop-off location for the 2026-27 school year, please complete a new form and submit it to the Transportation Department either via email to [email protected] or drop off to the Transportation Department.

Fully completed forms are needed for each student. Stated guidelines must be met, along with a set schedule which may include sending us a calendar for the year. This ensures accurate bus counts and maintains student safety. All Alternate Busing forms must be received no later that July 31, 2026, however, you are encouraged to complete them as soon as possible. While we will accept alternate forms after July 31, 2026, please be aware that requests are less likely to be accepted because bus routes will have been established and room is frequently not available. Approved requests after July 31, will not be processed until 5 days after the start of the new school year. All School of Choice students who are in need of busing must also submit an Alternate Busing form. If you have questions, please contact the Transportation Department at 517.223.6122.

Access the Alternate Busing form at:https://fowlerville2024-cdn.fxbrt.com/downloads/transportation/transportation-request_for_alternate_busing_1_fillable.pdf

Shoutout to our staff at Fowlerville Junior High School! Thanks for all you do!

This week, we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, but our gratitude goes far beyond the classroom.

It takes an entire district to support student success. From our teachers who inspire and guide students each day, to our paraprofessionals, support staff, bus drivers, food service teams, custodians, office staff, administrators, and so many others—you all play a vital role in shaping a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.

Every smile at the front door, every meal served, every safe ride, every clean and welcoming space, every moment of support behind the scenes—it all matters.

Thank you for the care, dedication, and teamwork you bring to Fowlerville Community Schools and our students every single day. 💜💛

Day 3 started early so we could beat the crowds to tour Gettysburg. Great tour with the kids acting a canon battalion and then had Colonel Tompkins leading his troops in a march. Amazing sites and sacrifices made by so many.
