Sharing some of the activities we did throughout the past week! The theme was gingerbread man and the kids and I had so much fun!

We read:
โ€œThe Gingerbread Manโ€
โ€œGingerbread loose in the Schoolโ€
โ€œThe Gingerbread Babyโ€
โ€œThe Gingerbread Girl Goes Animal Crackersโ€
โ€œThe Gingerbread boyโ€

We also did made some gingerbread play dough that smelled amazing. The kids played with it almost everyday this week.

Some pictures from our weather unit! The kids enjoyed learning about the changes in the weather. We also added a weather report to our circle time. So many fun activities this month!

This morning our focus was on circles. I put circles of different size and color all over the table. We talked about what makes a circle and I had them go on a hunt to find more circle around the room.

After our discussion, I added paper and coloring utensils to the table and demonstrated how to trace around the circles. The kids practiced drawing and tracing circles!

We also got our Pom Pom sensory bin out and sorted the Pom poms by color. My littlest one joined in on the fun too!

The kids had a blast with this sensory table! They played with almost all morning. The sand is very moldable and fun to play with. And the cleanup is pretty easy too!

Since the Harvest Moon is Thursday we are learning all about the moon this week! Iโ€™m so excited for all our fun activities we have planned. We are focusing on learning the letter M and recognizing circles.
