Instructional Leadership Through Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI®)
School improvement starts where learning happens — inside the classroom.
We are excited to launch our updated Instructional Leadership Workshop page, designed to support administrators, instructional coaches, and school leaders in developing the skills needed to recognize effective instruction, provide meaningful feedback, and support teacher growth.
Strong instructional leadership is more than classroom observation — it is about building a shared understanding of what effective teaching looks like and creating systems that help teachers continuously improve.
Through Instructional Leadership training, leaders learn how to:
- Identify research-based instructional practices
- Recognize evidence of student learning
- Conduct focused classroom observations
- Provide actionable instructional feedback
- Support stronger lesson design and delivery
- Build consistency across classrooms
When leaders have the tools to observe, coach, and support instruction, schools can move from professional development to professional implementation.
