🍬LET THE CANDY CONTEST BEGIN! 🍬

We’re adding a little extra sweetness and friendly competition to all the fun! 🎉🍭

Our kid-friendly Candy Monsters are decorated and ready on the stage, and we can’t wait to see which class will come out on top! 🏆🍬

Here’s how it works:
🍭 Students can bring in bags of candy for our Fall Festival.
👾 Drop your candy into your grades Candy Monster on the stage!
⚖️ Candy will be weighed daily.
📊 We’ll share the daily totals on a leaderboard so everyone can keep up with the friendly competition and see which grade is in the lead!

The goal is to have fun, cheer each other on, and enjoy some friendly competition! 🎉❤️

So, spread the word, bring on the candy, and let’s see which grade has what it takes to be crowned the Candy Contest Champions! 🍬🥇👾

Good evening Cardinal Families,

This is your Principal, Lyndsey Dunn. From our PTA, they’d like to thank you for how hard you have been working to sell raffle tickets! Please continue to do so and remember for every 40 tickets a student sells, their name goes into a drawing for a $500 gift card!

Our Fall Festival is coming up on October 23rd and we are beyond excited to announce that all students at FOES will be able to participate free of charge, thanks to our partnership with Amazon! With that being said, we need lots of candy to be able to share with those who attend and play the fun games. We will be doing a friendly competition between the classes and there are kid-friendly “candy monsters” that have been decorated on the stage. Students can bring bags of candy labeled with their name and their teachers name to put in the candy monsters. The candy will be weighed daily and a total on a leaderboard will be shared so you can see who is winning!

Thank you to the FOES Fire department for coming and visiting our Kindergarteners today. They had a blast and we loved seeing all of them in their fire fighter hats.

These students demonstrated our character trait of RESPECT by treating others with kindness, listening thoughtfully, and showing care for our school community. We are proud of the positive example you set each day! Join us in celebrating these outstanding students! 👏🎉

Good evening Cardinal Families,

This is your Principal, Lyndsey Dunn. Next week our Fall Pictures are on Monday, October 5th and Tuesday, October 6th. Your child’s teacher should have reached out and let you know what day your child’s class has their picture. If you have not heard, please reach out via email or dojo to your child’s teacher.
*Tuesday, October 6th is Curriculum Night from 5:00-6:30. This is a floating event, so arrive when you can and go directly to your child’s classroom. Please come learn more about what your student will be learning this year and discover ways you can support learning at home. *Our wonderful PTA has provided every student with a t-shirt that can be worn anytime, but also is convenient for field trips. We are fortunate enough to have multiple sponsors who helped with this task and their logos are located on the back of the t-shirts. The t-shirts will be on student desks for curriculum night and for any student who isn’t able to attend, their shirt will be sent home on Wednesday.
*Each month our teachers are selecting a student from each class to be recognized for the character trait of the month. September’s trait was respect. Be on the lookout for these students to be shared on social media if permission allows. These students also received a book coin to be able to select a new book from our vending machine.
*Thank you to everyone who has been participating in our raffle tickets. If you would like more, you can request those at any time. We will continue to sell raffle tickets until the fall festival on October 23rd. If you would like your child to be entered into a drawing for a $500 gift card, they must sell 40 tickets. The deadline for the entries into the 40 ticket prize is Tuesday, October 20th.

We appreciate all that you do to partner with us to make this year a successful one at Four Oaks Elementary School.
