Join FFC8 for the "From the Frontier to the Future" 5K fun run and walk. Dress as your favorite historical figure and help bring history to life while supporting programs that strengthen our community.

Time: Packet Pickup is 8 am-8:45 am, race begins at 9 am

Early registration deadline: September 12, 2026, to guarantee a t-shirt. T-shirts available for participants 5 and up. Please arrive at the race no later than 8:30 a.m.

Attention Trojan Town !

School picture proofs are ready! Parents will receive photo information in the next few days via an email from Strawbridge Studios.

In addition to the proof information being provided, Strawbridge Studio's NEW Code Lookup Tool is also available. Parents can simply scan the QR code and follow the directions to access their child's picture ordering gallery. No need to contact Customer Service for an access code! *Student last name and Student ID number will be required for data security.*

Shoutout to our FFCHS HOSA officer team! 🩺 They kicked off their first volunteering event with the NMDP (National Marrow Donor Program) at the Pueblo Pride Festival!

Our students showed up to help register new volunteers for the NMDP marrow and stem cell registry.

The National Marrow Donor Program has helped find cures and saved lives through bone marrow transplants and the stem cell registry, helping people with diseases like leukemia and lymphomas! To learn more about the program, visit their website: www.nmdp.org

HOSA promotes healthcare careers by providing hands-on experience and leadership for 10th-12th graders in our Biomedical Pathway at FFCHS.

Dear 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade FFCHS Students and Parents/Guardians!

Are you interested in opportunities available for high school students to earn college credit as well as learn specialty career skills while still in high school?

If so, please plan to attend one of our two FFCHS Concurrent Enrollment Program Informational Meetings that will take place this semester. At these meetings, students and parents/guardians will learn about the Concurrent Enrollment Program including the Pikes Peak State College Career Start Program, qualifications, and application process.

High Schoolers: Want to lead and make a difference?

FFC8 is looking for enthusiastic, hardworking youth to join the Youth Advisory Council (YAC)! Members work with one another to develop leadership skills and prevent va**ng in our schools and community.

Commitment:
Attend 6 day-long meetings throughout the school year
Support community outreach
Lead school initiatives
Communicate and attend meetings outside of the school day.
$300 will be provided to participating youth members. Funding provided by the Va**ng Prevention Education Grant.
