Verdant Vivariums

This past year has been an enormous struggle. First off, I had 10 months of vomiting, malnutrition and total muscle atrophy due to side effects of radiation, and during this time suffered losses of over $40k in plants. More recently I have a fractured back, again due to radiation, and a herniated disc. I underwent a procedure yesterday to alleviate some of the back pain while I heal, and I start on testing in two weeks to begin reconstructive surgery on my legs to alleviate the swelling due to my removed lymph nodes.

I moved the business to Corona back in January to eliminate the 3-4 hour a day commute and make running the store easier for me, but I've also had some hurdles with city permitting. Things are coming together, just much slower than anticipated, and with no open the store the past couple of months I've run out of funding.

Any help that can be given, whether funding to help us open or even just sharing the Gofundme, would be amazing. Thank you as always for the continued support for myself and my business. I couldn't have made it this far without all of you, and to everyone that has already contributed and shared, it means more to me than I can say ❤️

I'm busy moving everything to the new location as fast as possible, but there's still a lot of work left to do! We'll have one final blowout sale at the Fountain Valley location before we go, but until then come visit us at the Reptile Super Show in Pomona this weekend!!

All profits from this year's show will be benefiting WIKIRI, along with our auction at 1:30 PM and our dinner lecture at 5:30 PM.

We're vending this weekend with the in Costa Mesa. Our member's brought some amazing frogs and terrariums, so be sure to check it out!

I'm so sorry, but with moving things around I just don't have time to keep the store open our normal hours. If you'd like to come in a day that isn't listed, I can be open by appointment as well so feel free to give me a call and see if I can be around that day. Hoping to find a better way forward soon but for the interim, shorter hours and by appointment will need to suffice. Hope to see everyone at this weekend's Repticon show!!
