Classrooms Our Mesa Campus features multiple classrooms designed to inspire learning at every age. A dedicated youth room where students can connect, relax, and grow together. Our Fellowship Hall is s spacious gathering room that is perfect for assemblies, performances, and community gatherings. Our Mesa Campus also has a large culinary kitchen where students explore nutrition, cooking, and real-world life skills. Homeschool Integration Plan: A parent-led and teacher-supported K–12 option that provides families with access to selected TIA resources and educational opportunities.

The Inspiration Academy Enrollment Is Now Open for the 2026–2027 School Year!

A new year of learning, discovery, creativity, and community begins at The Inspiration Academy K–12 Private School in Fountain Hills!

The 2026–2027 school year begins on Thursday, July 30, and enrollment is currently ongoing. We invite families who are searching for a more personal, engaging, and meaningful educational experience to discover what makes The Inspiration Academy so unique.

The Inspiration Academy is a Cognia-accredited and STEM-certified K–12 private school where every student is recognized and celebrated as an individual. Our students receive a strong academic education aligned with state standards, but education at TIA reaches far beyond textbooks and traditional classroom instruction.

Core subjects are brought to life through interdisciplinary thematic units, hands-on activities, collaborative projects, field trips, service learning, and real-world experiences. Students are encouraged to think critically, explore their creativity, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and discover the individual talents and passions that will help shape their futures.

One of the most distinctive parts of our educational program is our growing selection of Community Modules. These programs connect students with professionals, artists, educators, and community leaders who share their knowledge and experience in areas such as culinary arts, gardening, nutrition and wellness, STEM, environmental education, economics, character development, music, and the performing arts.

We have many exciting events and educational experiences planned for the coming year!

One very special international experience will be the arrival of a Junior Chaperone from Japan, who will spend three weeks with our school community. Her family is trained in a classical tradition of Senchadō 煎茶道, the Japanese Way of Steeped Tea. During her visit, she will share aspects of Japanese culture and introduce our students to Japanese cooking through TIA’s Culinary Arts program.

Experiences like this reflect our belief that the world itself can become a classroom. By introducing students to different cultures, traditions, professions, and ways of thinking, we help them develop curiosity, understanding, confidence, and a broader view of the world around them.

Something awesome comes this way from the far east to Arizona... and from Arizona we will travel to Japan in return!

Building Bridges Between Arizona, Japan, and the World - The Inspiration Academy, our K–12 private school here in Arizona, continues to grow not only as a place of academic learning, but as a living bridge between cultures, traditions, and meaningful international relationships.
We are honored that The Inspiration Academy will once again be hosting a Japanese junior chaperone for three weeks. This is more than a simple exchange visit. It is an opportunity for our students, families, and school community to experience Japanese culture through direct friendship, shared daily life, and the kind of personal connection that no textbook can fully provide.
This work connects deeply with the larger mission shared between The Inspiration Academy, Yakushin Publications, and Yotsume Dojo. Through Yakushin Publications USA and Japan, we continue to preserve, study, translate, and share Japan’s historical martial, medical, spiritual, and cultural traditions. Through Yotsume Dojo, those traditions are not only researched, but lived, practiced, and passed forward through direct training and sincere relationship. Through The Inspiration Academy, these same values become part of a broader educational mission: helping young people see the world with discipline, respect, curiosity, courage, and cultural understanding. "Not all education happens in a classroom!"
This November, my son and I will once again return to Japan for most of the month. During this trip, we will be meeting and training with Yakushin Publications partners, as well as with my martial art and medical art teachers in Japan. These journeys are not vacations. They are part of a lifelong commitment to study, transmission, relationship, and preservation. Each visit strengthens the living connection between our work in the United States and the teachers, schools, temples, archives, and cultural communities in Japan that continue to guide us.
Looking ahead, we are also preparing for something truly special. In May of 2027, The Inspiration Academy will lead a 14-day student journey to Japan and beyond. This educational trip will take students across Honshu, Japan’s main island, while also reaching Hokkaido, Kyushu, and a location in Korea. Our students will not only see famous places. They will experience history, language, food, traditional culture, modern Japan, spiritual sites, regional identity, and the deep human value of stepping outside one’s own familiar world.
For us, education does not stop at the classroom door. It continues in the dojo, in the temple, in the archive, in the home of a host family, on the train platform, in the quiet conversation with a teacher, and in the moment a young student realizes that the world is much larger and more connected than they once imagined.
The partnership between The Inspiration Academy, Yakushin Publications USA and Japan, and Yotsume Dojo represents a shared vision: to preserve tradition, build cultural understanding, strengthen international friendship, and give the next generation meaningful access to the living spirit of Japan.
We are proud to continue building this bridge from Arizona to Japan, from past to future, and from study to lived experience.

250 Years of America. A New Generation of Inspiration. Today, as our nation celebrates the 250th anniversary of American independence, we pause to honor a remarkable moment in history. On July 4, 1776, a bold declaration was made that changed the course of the world. It was a declaration built on courage, vision, sacrifice, and the belief that a free people could shape their own future.

Two hundred and fifty years later, that responsibility now belongs to us.

At The Inspiration Academy, we believe education is one of the most powerful ways to carry that promise forward. The future of America will not be built by chance. It will be built by students who learn to think deeply, lead with character, solve real problems, serve their communities, and discover the unique purpose placed within them.

This day is not only about looking back. It is about looking ahead.

It is about asking what kind of country we want our children to inherit, and what kind of young people we are preparing to lead it. It is about remembering that freedom is not simply celebrated with fireworks. It is strengthened through wisdom, responsibility, perseverance, creativity, faith, service, and courage.

As another incredible school year has ended, we want to take a moment to thank our students and families for being part of The Inspiration Academy community. What a joy it has been to learn, grow, explore, and discover together!

Summer is a time for adventure, family, creativity, and making memories. Whether you're traveling to new places, spending time in nature, learning a new skill, helping others, or simply enjoying moments with loved ones, remember that some of life's greatest lessons happen beyond the walls of a classroom.

Always remember: "Not All Education Happens in a Classroom". Every experience, every challenge, every conversation, and every new discovery helps shape who we become.
