I collected Art 2's Warm Up books. Eight pages so there were eight prompts... this was meant to be a months worth of warm ups but they were doing such great work, I realized they only need one prompt per week not two. I'm so impressed!

As we celebrate our nation's labor movement, let's not forget to support our arts & culture workers! The California creative economy generates 2.7 million jobs and this labor brings beauty, engagement, teaching, empathy, and enjoyment to our lives.

This week was week 9 so our first quarter is done tomorrow. That means new 6th graders in Art next week.

I am going to miss my 6th graders from 1st quarter but they are lucky to be going on to other wonderful electives like technology, drama or chorus.

My 6th graders wre so positive and enthusiastic about everything and it made me really enjoy my time with them even if it was through a computer.

We ended the week with Kawaii (cute) drawings. If we were in the classroom we have drawers thet a talented student made numbers for last year. Zoom in and see if it looks familiar.
