Enroll Now in TechKnowHow Summer Camps - receive the early-bird discount thru March 1st. www.techknowhowkids.com Perfect for kids who love LEGO, Minecraft or Coding, our camps offer projects which build STEM knowledge. Our LEGO camps include new projects each year. This year, LEGO Verve teaches students how to create unique movements such as spinning UFOs, rocking boats, and “flying” dragons using motors, gears, and pistons. PokePark Adventure has students creating cute motor-powered Pokemon creatures as well designing take-home Pokemon paper and LEGO crafts.
For Minecraft fans, we offer 3 camps - a combination LEGO & Minecraft camp, an Intermediate-level camp teaching command block coding and redstone engineering, and a Roblox-Minecraft camp featuring character modding and 3d modeling.
Our Robotics camp for ages 8-12 allows students a chance to make and program robots to play games - from arena contests to soccer and ball launch. There’s lots of fun and excitement when kids build, analyze and rework their robots to perform at a higher level.
Kids who want to learn coding can make games using Scratch, the most popular intro programming software featuring code blocks. The code blocks teach about loops, if-then conditionals, and variables, as well as programming structure and logic. Scratch is part of our Girls Camp, LEGO Verve, and Robotics sessions.
All camps are weekly. With the early-bird discount, a 5-day camp costs $525. We are in 10 locations in the Bay Area, including SF, Oakland, Fremont, Burlingame, Palo Alto and Los Gatos-San Jose. Register at www.techknowhowkids.com
